Ingredients
1 - 4 slices of provolone cheese
2 - 3oz leftover diced sirloin steak (feel free to use any leftover meat).
3 - 2oz of Cream Cheese divided in 2 parts
Directions
In this recipe, I had 3 ounces of sirloin from the night before. I took that and chopped it up for this.
Take your 4 slices of provolone and lay them out. Once laid out, take the two ounces of cream cheese and divide in two placing on ounce on two of the slices of provolone.
Spread the cream cheese on the provolone.
Divide the steak into two and evenly spread it out over the cream cheese on the two slices of provolone.
Place one of the slices of provolone with the spread and steak in your waffle iron and then take one of the other slices of provolone with nothing on it and place it over the one with the spread and steak. Close the waffle iron.
Let this cook for 4-5 minutes. With my waffle maker, my light goes off when it is done, but after a few minutes, slightly lift up on the top of the waffle iron. When the chaffle is done, it will open up easily. If there is any resistance, let if go for another 30 seconds to a minute.
Remove the chaffle from the waffle iron and allow it to cool for a minute or two before enjoing, then follow steps 5 and 6 with the two other slices of provolone.
